Computer Lab Rules
Please refer to your planner for a fuller and
more detailed description of "the rules". You are responsible for knowing
these rules and pleading ignorance doesn't fly. The over-riding principle
and rule number 1 in the book is that computers are to be used strictly
for educational purposes only.

You are not allowed to eat (including candy),
drink (including water) or chew gum in the computer labs. Please inform
your teacher if you have special medical needs, need to go to the water
fountain, etc.

Do not share your passwords with others. Do not
let anyone else use your account!

You are not allowed to play games, apart from
games that are part of your course work. No commercially prepared games
can be brought into the lab.

You are not allowed to "chat", "MUD" or otherwise
have real time communication over the net.

You are not allowed to have streaming sound or
video. (too much bandwidth).

Do not print unnecessarily or waste resources
(Use print review , print PowerPoint Slides six per page).

Do not download files without permission.
