Welcome to my web page for the 2005-2006 school year. At long last (we are are almost at the Christmas Break!), I am able to repair my web page and indicate that I am now teaching at Glebe Collegiate Institute.. After just one year at Earl of March Secondary School in Kanata, ia have moved to Glebe as the Head of English and ESL Department. This follows seven wonderful years at rival school Lisgar. As was the hope in the past, students can use this web page to stay current with the work that is done in my classes. Students and parents can use the site to make sure that assignments and homework are up to date. Hopefully this web page will help my students with their organization. New Updates: go to the course page to find these recent updates.ENG1D — Answers for the video worksheet William Shakespeare: Life of Drama now posted CLICK HERE While at Lisgar, I worked with another teacher in the English and Languages department on a project intended to encourage student reading and discussion. "As The Page Turns" English Book Forum is a wonderful place to describe and discuss books you have read and enjoyed. I hope to have a partnership with Lisgar and Glebe in the near future using this forum. Also, I am in the process of setting up a BLOG for my students to discuss their favourite books and other reading. As soon as this is up and running I will let you know. ENG2P — nothing posted (in fact I do not even have a page for you yet!), but remember to work on your persuasive essay. ENG3U — nothing right now, but Poetry work will be up later in the week.
Of interest:
John Mellencamp's article from Vanity Fair is now posted.
